The Django Basics course will lay the foundations of Web programming with Python and Django. It will examine how networks actually work, what HTTP is, and the basic principles of web development. The course will examine the basic concepts in the MTV (Model–Template–View) architecture, such as Function-Based Views, Class-Based Views, and in addition to them, forms (Form and ModelForm) will be used to develop an application, media files will be worked with, and data will be stored in PostgreSQL.

The training includes practical exercises (labs) and workshops for building complete, fully functional Django web applications.

Who is the course suitable for?

The course is suitable for students who have mastered working with basic data structures in Python and have knowledge of object-oriented programming, as well as basic knowledge of working with relational databases and ORM. Knowledge of English corresponding to level B2 is required.

How can I sign up?

To register in the module, contact MLC Business School and follow the provided steps. Once you successfully pay the fee, you will be registered for the training.

How long can I sign up for and when does the course start?

Registration for the course is open until August 16. The training starts on August 20, 2025. You can find a detailed schedule of classes in the Topics section.

How and where will the classes be held?

You can learn online in real time. Immediately after each class, you also get access to the recording of the class and learning resources.

What is the exam and when will it be held?

The exam will be held practical on September 20. It will include a practical part (practical tasks) and a theoretical part (test format).

Will I receive a certificate after the exam?

After passing the exam, you will acquire a certificate from SoftUni if you receive a grade above Very good 5.00 in the practical part. You will also have the opportunity to obtain a state-recognized Certificate of Vocational Training, valid throughout the European Union. You can view the requirements for obtaining a certificate.
